Feast of Esther
About the mission
Feast of Esther is an annual Feast organized by the wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian church of God Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye. It is a vision and a divine assignment given by God. Feast of Esther is the gathering of women who are General Overseers or heads of ministries and women who are wives of General overseers/Prelates/Arch Bishops/Head of Ministries and women leaders to interact for the purpose of fellowship, prayer, renewal, growth and development and to stand in gap for their churches, ministries and the nation.
The Feast is to be a time set aside by these women to share experiences and learn from each other. The first Feast of Esther was held in February 2002 and as then become an annual event held at the Redemption Camp Nigeria. Since then, it has been organized in other African and European countries. The Feast of Esther currently holds also in Nigeria Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Zambia, Kenya, Malawi, Togo, Republic of Benin, South Africa, Cameron, United Kingdom, Germany and Mainland Europe.
To develop excellent Ministry Skills in women who are called to impact the church of God for the promotion of heaven consciousness and nation building and stand as pillars in the house of God to accomplish great things for the kingdom.
A forum where female General Overseers/Bishops or wives of General Overseers/Bishops, Head of Ministries,and Women Leaders of Ministries learn to:
- Accomplish their goal and calling in ministry.
- Stand in gap for their churches, ministries and nation.
- Interact and share fellowship.
- Impact the church maximally to effect revival in the nation.
- Ensure that as many people as possible make heaven
The Feast of Esther is the gathering of the wives of General Overseers, Senior Pastors, Head of Ministries, and Women Leaders of Ministries.
To Build ourselves up to meet the tasks ahead of us, that is to build a righteous Nation. Eze 22:30.
“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it but I found none”.
To impact every home, Neighborhood, Organisation, Villages and Towns with the gospel of the truth.
To be effective helpers to our husbands in their Ministries.
To also know that God is counting on us for excellence in the ministry.
To make disciples of all nations.
To be a better example of the believers, ITim 4:12 “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity”.
To be diligent in whatever God has called us to do.
To know also that we are labourers, Luke 10:7 “And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house
